These standards apply to everyone who uses Rendlr, to every part of the Rendlr app and website, and to all content created, shared or transmitted through Rendlr — including profiles, photos, bios, chat messages, voice and video calls, timeline posts and dinner invitations.

In these standards:

• Child means any person under the age of 18, regardless of the age of majority or age of consent where they live.
• Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) means any act that sexually abuses, sexually exploits or endangers a child. It includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, the sexualisation of children, and child trafficking.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) means any image, video, drawing or other depiction, real or generated, that shows a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct or that depicts a child in a sexualised manner.
• Grooming means building a relationship, trust or emotional connection with a child in order to sexually abuse, exploit or traffic them.
• Sextortion means threatening to share intimate images of a person in order to obtain further images, sexual acts, money or anything else of value.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Rendlr account or to use any part of the service. This is a strict condition of our Terms of Service and is not waived in any country, for any reason.

• Every account must provide a date of birth during profile set-up, and accounts that do not clear the minimum age of 18 are rejected by our systems.
• We use age signals across the service — including the stated date of birth, profile photos, self-reported information and reports from other users — to identify accounts that may belong to a child.
• Any account we believe belongs to a person under 18 is suspended immediately and removed, and its data is handled in line with applicable law.
• Attempting to misrepresent your age, or helping a child misrepresent their age, is a serious breach of these standards and results in a permanent ban.

The following are strictly forbidden on Rendlr and are enforced without exception:

• Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, linking to, describing or seeking child sexual abuse material, in any format, including AI-generated, drawn, edited or computer-generated depictions.
• Sexualising a child in any way, including in text, images, audio, video or conversation, whether or not the child is a Rendlr user.
• Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to establish a sexual or romantic relationship with a child, on Rendlr or elsewhere.
• Sextortion, or threatening or blackmailing a child with intimate content.
• Child trafficking, or advertising, offering, selling or arranging access to a child for sexual purposes.
• Using Rendlr to arrange, promote, normalise or glorify the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.
• Knowingly enabling a person under 18 to access or use Rendlr, including by creating an account on their behalf.

These prohibitions apply to conduct that takes place off Rendlr as well. Where we learn that a Rendlr user has committed a child safety offence anywhere, we remove their account from the service.

• Age gating at sign-up. A date of birth is required and validated, and accounts under 18 cannot complete registration.
• Profile and photo review. Profiles, profile photos and timeline content are subject to review, and content that raises a child safety concern is removed and escalated to our child safety team.
• Optional identity verification. Users can verify their profile, which helps our team confirm that an account belongs to a real adult.
• In-app reporting in every relevant surface, with dedicated child safety categories that route a report straight to our child safety team as a priority.
• Blocking and unmatching, so a user can cut off contact with another account at any time. When a child safety report is filed, we block the reported account from contacting the reporter automatically.
• Staff training. Everyone who reviews reports is trained on how to recognise CSAE, how to preserve evidence and how to escalate.
• Ongoing review of these standards and of our enforcement practices.

Every Rendlr user can report a child safety concern from inside the app, free of charge and without needing to contact support first. Reports are confidential — we never tell the reported person who reported them.

In the Rendlr app:

• Go to Settings → Safety → Child Safety and tap Report a child safety concern. You can file a report here even if you cannot identify a specific profile.
• Or, to report a specific person, open your chat with them, tap the menu in the top corner and choose Report.
• Choose the child safety reason that best fits — a person under 18 on Rendlr, child sexual abuse material, grooming or solicitation of a child, sexualisation of a child, child trafficking or exploitation, or another child safety concern — add any details you can, and submit.

You do not need a Rendlr account to report a concern. Anyone can write to our child safety point of contact at rendlrofficial@gmail.com. Please include as much detail as you can, such as the profile name, what you saw and when you saw it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to Rendlr does not replace reporting to the police.

• Child safety reports are escalated to our child safety team the moment they are submitted and are treated as the highest priority ahead of all other reports.
• The reported account is restricted from contacting the person who reported it while the review takes place.
• Our trained reviewers assess the report, the account and the surrounding content.
• Content that breaches these standards is removed from Rendlr.
• Accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation are permanently banned, and we take steps to prevent the person behind them from returning.
• Where a user appears to be under 18, the account is removed from the service.
• We preserve the relevant account records and content as evidence, in line with applicable law, so that they are available to law enforcement.
• Where required or appropriate, we report the matter to NCMEC and to the relevant national authorities.

Rendlr complies with child safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates. Where we identify apparent child sexual abuse material or another reportable child safety offence, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, and to the relevant regional or national authority, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

We also preserve the associated content and account data for the period required by law so that investigators can act on it.

These standards are published to meet our obligations under the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and the Google Play Developer Program Policies, and to comply with applicable child safety and child protection laws, including laws requiring the reporting of child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.

We review these standards regularly and update them as our service, the law and our safety practices change.
